About Mark

Mark Dietzler brings a rare dual perspective to personal injury litigation, having spent over 30 years as a lead trial attorney for major insurance companies in high stakes injury and liability cases before shifting focus to advocate for the injured. Mark learned how insurance companies think, how they evaluate risk, and—most importantly—how they approach settlement. He has tried countless cases to verdict and negotiated millions in settlements. Whether it’s a catastrophic injury, wrongful death, or complex liability dispute, Mark brings strategic insight and relentless advocacy to every case. That experience now fuels his mission: to level the playing field for injury victims and hold wrongdoers accountable.

Mark joined Evergreen Personal Injury Counsel to be part of a team that shares his commitment to justice, compassion, and client-centered representation.

When not in the courtroom, Mark enjoys hiking in the Cascades and Olympics, road biking, golfing, and almost anything else outdoors with his wife Kathy and their two daughters.  Mark is proud to call the Pacific Northwest home and is passionate about serving the community both inside and outside the legal system.

Mark Dietzler received his Juris Doctorate degree at the University of Puget Sound School of Law in 1991.  He earned a master’s degree in technology and Innovative Management in 2001 from Pacific Lutheran University.  Mark received his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota Morris and served a four-year enlistment in the United States Air Force.  Mark is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, an invitation-only organization for lead counsel that practice to the highest degree of ethical conduct.

Clients appreciate Mark not just for legal skill, but for compassion, clarity, and commitment.  He understands that behind every case is a person whose life has been upended and fights to make things right.
