Madigan Army Medical Center Won’t Appeal $12.3M Verdict for Surgery That Burned Child

The government’s appeal had threatened to hold up money the child’s family needs to pay for his medical expenses, which will include reconstructive surgery over several years. Dismissing the notice of appeal will free up the settlement.
