Homeowners Insurance – and some renters policies with general liability coverage – will cover all sorts of unintentional incidents outside the home – including skier collisions. That’s just one more good reason to make sure your covered.

The general liability coverage in most homeowners insurance is pretty broad. I’ve had similar cases where the coverage applied in situations far removed from the home. Whether on a ski hill or a water slide in Mexico coverage followed.
There’s no excuse for skiing out of control – but its good to make sure you have some liability protection if something did happen.
